Turn your technology into an investable company.
Your technology, capital, and decisions are one system. Build it to stand up in the lab and in the raise.
TRUSTED BY BUILDERS
THE PROBLEM
You're building heads-down. When you look up, will you be on a path?
Great tech, no bridge to profit
The technology works and the destination is clear. But the middle, how you get from here to a fundable company, is a question mark.
Spending without a runway
You're spending venture money now and not sure where the next dollar, or the next round, comes from. Making money today is no guarantee.
Decisions that can’t wait
The financial calls that shape your next two years keep getting deferred while you build. Every month they wait, the options narrow.
WHY NOW
Soon, someone is going to ask to see your numbers, and what they expect has already shifted.
A commercial agreement used to be a Series C question. Now it's a Series A one. The bar keeps sliding forward, and no one sends a memo when it does.
WHY IT WORKS
Financial decisions are strategic decisions.
TECHNOLOGY
A roadmap with real costs, timelines, and de-risking milestones.
CAPITAL
Runway that maps to the round you're actually raising.
DECISIONS
Hiring, R&D, and fundraise timing that move together.
CASE STUDY
From a technoeconomic analysis to an investable company.
A turbine whose economics shift with the chemistry it runs, producing several forms of energy at or below market rate plus carbon it can capture and sell. Dugu had the science and no way to show investors a company.
ABOUT
Tabong Kima
FRACTIONAL CFO - KIMA CLIMATE
Throughout my career I’ve built finance processes for steep growth. At one B-Corp, that meant 215% growth to $7M. At another, a climb from $4M to $15M. Earlier in my career, I sourced and structured $20M+ in deals.
Now I put that behind climate tech founders. I build models that make unit economics clear and use those insights to drive growth. I also open my network of operators and investors to help them raise, sell, and hire.
WHAT I DO
I build you a bulletproof model set to your inputs.
A downloadable template can be tempting, but that template can't speak to your chemistry, your costs, or your timeline. I look at your numbers, test every assumption, and hand you a custom model that holds up when an investor starts pulling on it.
Translate the science into fundraising fundamentals
Take your technoeconomic reality and put it in the form investors read: an operating model that shows the ramp, the revenue, and the growth potential.
Prove financial discipline
Recruiting fees, compute per head, diseconomies of scale, the certifications on your roadmap. The costs founders leave out are exactly what show you've thought it through.
Build the honest narrative
When investors see granular detail, they assume they're meant to have an opinion on it. I direct their attention to what actually moves the decision.
Know what to leave out
Don't have the commercial agreement yet? I show the rate of progress and the plan to get there, so you walk into the raise with the milestones lined up, not improvised.
THE INSIDER VIEW
Your company is unique.
Your problems are not.
The financial questions in front of you have been answered before — just not out loud, and not by anyone who'll tell you straight. I'm an insider to both worlds: fluent in the science, and able to talk to the bankers on their own terms. This is not the first time I've seen this problem.
THE OFFER
A good financial plan is the best money you'll ever spend.
The financial capability of a real company
Without the headcount of one.
A CFO’s judgment
Without the CFO salary.
